MISSION
To promote the career development of early career investigators (assistant professors and instructors) in Pediatrics at Stanford through a formal mentorship program and creation of the Stable of Mentors.
MENTORING PROGRAM DESIGN
A key component of our program is an eight-member "stable of mentors" specifically chosen for their expertise in supporting early career investigators. Each member covers one of four key development areas: Clinical/Teaching, Research, Work/Life Balance, and Academic. These mentors work together to provide targeted mentorship when requested by early career investigators. Their role supplements existing assigned primary mentors.
